Emilye Lombardo joined Washington University in St. Louis following a career in academic advising and brings a broad background in student support, academic administration, and higher education operations. She earned her BFA in Art History from McKendree University, an MA in Human Services Counseling with an emphasis in Crisis, Response, and Trauma from Liberty University, and an MFA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing – Works of Non-Fiction from Lindenwood University. Her interdisciplinary academic background informs her approach to supporting faculty, students, and academic programs with thoughtful, organized, and student-centered administrative support.

As an Academic & Administrative Coordinator within the Arts & Sciences Academic & Administrative cluster, Emilye provides administrative support to the Department of Romance Languages & Literatures and the Latin American Studies Program. Her responsibilities span academic and programmatic support, faculty and student services, event planning, travel coordination, room reservations, website updates, and other departmental operations.
