The Department of Romance Languages & Literatures was proud to host its 2026 Awards Ceremony and Banquet, celebrating another remarkable year of student achievement and success. Faculty and guests gathered to honor students whose hard work, curiosity, and dedication have made a lasting impact within the department and beyond.

The ceremony recognized students for a wide range of accomplishments, including academic excellence, outstanding language achievement, research, study abroad experiences, leadership, and service to the department community. Each award highlighted the talent, perseverance, and passion our students bring to their studies and to the broader field of global languages and cultures.

In addition to recognizing award recipients, the banquet provided an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and families to come together in celebration of the meaningful connections built through language learning and cultural exploration.
